Dr. Zelman’s research activity is aimed at exploring the types of anesthesia in neurosurgery. He is one of the leading specialists in the world.

Dr. Zelman has coauthored 59 articles in Scopus indexed journals.

Dr. Zelman has established 5 personalized awards for learners at the Russian Military Medical Academy, financially contributed to the creation of the Museum of History of the N.N. Burdenko National Medical Research Center for Neurosurgery. Currently, Dr. Zelman works as a consultant at the Skolkovo Biomedical Cluster and actively participates in collaborative Russian-American healthcare projects.
