Dr. Tu’s primary areas of interest are cerebrovascular surgery (aneurysms, anastomoses, arteriovenous malformations), pathophysiology of cerebral blood flow, cerebral hemodynamics and metabolism, skull base surgery, neuroprotection, and neurological resuscitation. He is one of the leading specialists in the world. He has coauthored 127 articles in Scopus indexed journals.
