MD, DMSc, Professor of the Fundamental Neurosurgery Department of the Russian National Research Medical University named after N.I. Pirogov, Ministry of Health of Russia; Leading Research Fellow at the Neurosurgery Division of the N.V. Sklifosovsky Research Institute of Emergency Medicine, Moscow Healthcare Department.
In 1987, Dr. Talypov graduated from the N.A. Semashko Moscow State University of Medicine and Dentistry.
In 2001, Dr. Talypov successfully defended his Ph.D. thesis “Surgical treatment of injuries of the posterior cranial fossa”.
In 2015, Dr. Talypov successfully defended his Doctor of Medical Sciences dissertation “Surgical treatment of severe brain injury”.
Dr. Talypov has authored 250 papers and 1 patent.
Dr. Talypov is a member of the Russian Neurosurgical Association, Society of Emergency Doctors, European Neurosurgical Association.
Dr. Talypov specializes in problems of brain injuries, neuro-oncology and spinal neurosurgery.
Between1993 and 1995, Dr. Talypov was a clinical neurosurgical resident at the N.V. Sklifosovsky Research Institute of Emergency Medicine.
After residency between 1995 and 2005, he worked at the Department of Neurosurgery at the N.V. Sklifosovsky Research Institute of Emergency Medicine.
In 2005, Dr. Talypov became a senior researcher at the Department of Emergency Neurorsurgery, in 2017 – leading researcher.
Dr. Talypov regularly presents scientific papers and lectures at international and Russian symposiums and conferences. He has authored more than 250 papers, co-authored 6 books. Dr. Talypov trained abroad several times. He performes scientific research, works with patients, presents lectures, master classes. He also participates in social work, as a member of the Neurosurgery Editorial Board.
Dr. Talypov’s neurosurgical priorities lie in head injuries, neuro-oncology and spinal neurosurgery.
