MD, DMSc, Professor, Honored Doctor of the Russian Federation, Deputy Director for clinical work at the Saint-Petersburg I.I. Dzhanelidze Research Institute of Emergency Medicine.

Dr. Manukovsky participated in the evaluation of the effectiveness of combination treatment in patients with pituitary adenomas and conducted studies concerning spinal surgery.

His MD thesis was entitled ‘Cryodestruction in transsphenoidal surgery of pituitary adenomas (clinical and morphological examination)’ (2002); his DMSc thesis was entitled ‘Vertebroplasty in the treatment of spinal disorders’ (2009). Dr. Manukovsky is a leading specialist in surgery for spinal injuries and disorders in Russia.

He has coauthored 81 research articles and 5 monographs.

Three theses were successfully defended under his supervision.
