Dr. Krivoshapkin’s research activity focuses on vascular brain disorders and neurological oncology. He has published 89 research articles, 5 monographs and 1 guideline; he owns 1 certificate of authorship and 12 patents for inventions. He has developed 5 medical technologies approved by the Federal Service for Surveillance in Healthcare and Medical Technologies. Seven theses were successfully defended under his supervision.
Dr. Krivoshapkin is a member of the Academic Council at the Novosibirsk Research Institute of Blood Flow Pathology named after Academician E.N. Meshalkin, Ministry of Health of Russia, and specialized thesis committees D 208.064.01 at the Novosibirsk Research Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedy. He is the Head of the Problem Commission ‘Neurosurgery and Oncology’ in the Novosibirsk Research Institute of Blood Flow Pathology named after Academician E.N. Meshalkin, Ministry of Health of Russia. In collaboration with the Siberian Division of the Russian Academy of Sciences, he supervises research projects ‘Malignant gliomas of the brain’, ‘Hemodynamic model of the human brain’, ‘Ischemic preconditioning in the brain.’
Dr. Krivoshapkin is a member of editorial boards of several Russian and international journals.
