Boris V. Gaidar

Dr. Gaidar’s scientific interests range from traumatic brain injury and mine blast injuries of the central nervous system to neurological oncology and vascular neurosurgery. In 1990, he successfully defended his DMSc thesis describing the main principles of cerebral hemodynamics optimization in neurosurgical pathology of the brain. In his thesis, he developed a method of noninvasive evaluation of cerebral hemodynamics during the acute stage of traumatic brain injury and brain disorders.

Dr. Gaidar has coauthored more than 200 research papers, including 2 monographs, 2 books, 4 guidelines for doctors, 2 textbooks, 7 training manuals, 2 guidance manuals and recommendations, 3 subject collections; 29 research articles have been published in international peer-reviewed journals. Total number of his works published is 120.
