Dr. Grigoriev graduated from the N.A. Semashko Moscow State University of Medicine and Dentistry in 1994; in 1996, he had completed residency at the N.N. Burdenko Scientific Research Institute of Neurosurgery with specialization in neurosurgery; in 1999, he had completed a Ph.D. program at the same institute.
In 2003, Dr. Grigoriev successfully defended his Ph.D. thesis “Short-term complications after surgery in patients with pituitary adenomas.”
Between 1999 and 2004, Dr. Grigoriev worked as a neurosurgeon in a specialized clinical division at the N.N. Burdenko Scientific Research Institute of Neurosurgery predominantly treating tumors of the chiasm and sellar region.
Between 2004 and 2005, Dr. Grigoriev worked as a senior researcher at the surgical division of the Scientific Center for Endocrinology of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences; since 2005, Dr. Grigoriev is the head of the neurosurgical division of the Center.
In 2011, Dr. Grigoriev successfully defended his Doctor of Medical Sciences dissertation “Neurosurgical treatment of patients with Itsenko-Cushing disease and acromegalia.”
Dr. Grigoriev’s main areas of scientific interest are neuro-oncology, surgical treatment of pituitary adenomas.
Dr. Grigoriev has authored 100 scientific publications.
