Dr. Dreval’s research activity focuses on various problems in neurosurgery. The title of his MD and DMSc theses were ‘Surgical anatomy of the cortical visual analyzer’ (1982) and ‘Pain syndromes in brachial plexus disorders (pathogenesis, clinical features, microsurgical treatment)’ respectively (1989). Moreover, Dr. Dreval has studied tumors of the central nervous system and degenerative spine conditions.
Dr. Dreval has coauthored 125 research articles, 15 monographs and training manuals, 5 sections and chapters in 3 guidelines. He owns 5 patents for inventions. A total of 24 PhD/MD theses and 3 DMSc theses were successfully defended under his supervision.
