Field of professional interests: surgery of brain and spinal cord tumors, skull base surgery, gunshot wounds and injuries of skull and brain, vascular neurosurgery, degenerative diseases and injuries of spine and spinal cord, minimally invasive and endoscopic operations in neurosurgery, modeling, robot-assisted and high-tech operations.

In 1999 defended his doctoral thesis on “Traumatic disease in gunshot wounds and injuries of skull and brain”.

Author of more than 235 scientific papers, 4 monographs, 2 all-Russian textbooks, 11 guidance manuals, 4 patents.
