Важной особенностью очагов ушиба головного мозга является изменение их величины и структуры с течением времени. Возможно два вида таких изменений: обратное развитие очага ушиба или его прогрессирование (эволюция). В статье подробно рассмотрены две современные концепции, объясняющие развитие очагов ушиба при ЧМТ, а также описаны факторы риска, способствующие прогрессированию очагов ушиба.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>One of the most severe types of head injury (HI) is brain contusion, representing itself as focus of morphologically destroyed brain tissue accompanied by hemorrhages, perifocal edema and cerebral ischemia. The important features of brain contusion foci are the changing of their sizes and structure over time. There are two possible types of such changes: regression of contusion focus or its progression (evolution).
