<trans-abstract xml:lang="en">
<title>Objective</title><p>Objective: to present the rare clinical case — cyst of pellucid septum with aggressive clinical course.</p>
<title>Material and methods</title><p>Material and methods. Female patient, 24 years old had transient and gradually growing within 6 months occlusive and hypertensive symptoms after minimal head injury. Brain MRI revealed cyst of pellucid septum with the volume of 16 cm3, compressed the frontal horns of lateral ventricles and occlusion of Monro foramen from both sides.</p>
<title>Results</title><p>Results. The endoscopic fenestration of pellucid septum cyst was performed under the control of frameless neuronavigation. The good clinical outcome was achieved with the total release of symptoms of intracranial hypertension and occlusion of liquor pathways.</p>
<title>Conclusions</title><p>Conclusions: endoscopic fenestration of pellucid septum cyst is effective treatment method. </p>
</trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>киста прозрачной перегородки</kwd><kwd>окклюзионный синдром</kwd><kwd>гипертензионный синдром</kwd><kwd>хирургическое лечение</kwd><kwd>эндоскопическая фенестрация кисты</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>cyst of pellucid septum</kwd><kwd>occlusive syndrome</kwd><kwd>intracranial hypertension</kwd><kwd>surgical treatment</kwd><kwd>endoscopic fenestration of cyst</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Sylbert P.L., Gubbay S.S., Vaughan R.J.
