Неврома Мортона (код заболевания по Международной классификации болезней 10-го пересмотра – G57.6) – новообразование межпальцевых подошвенных нервов, вызывающее компрессионную нейропатию, которая проявляется нейропатической болью и функциональными нарушениями. Неврома Мортона занимает 2-е место по распространенности среди всех туннельных нейропатий, что обусловливает важность своевременной диагностики и лечения этого заболевания.

Цель работы – повысить информированность медицинских специалистов о данной патологии путем представления обзора отечественной и зарубежной научной литературы, содержащей основные сведения об этом заболевании: историю изучения, современные данные о распространенности, анатомо-гистологическую характеристику и этиопатогенетические теории формирования невромы Мортона, основные методы ее диагностики и лечения (консервативного и хирургического).

Morton’s neuroma (the disease code according to the International Classification of Diseases of the 10th revision – G57.6) is an entrapment syndrome of the interdigital plantar nerve, which manifests as a neuropathic pain syndrome in the forefoot and functional disorders. Morton’s neuroma is the second most common among all tunnel neuropathies, which determines the importance of timely diagnosis and treatment of this disease.

The aim of this work – to increase the awareness of medical specialists about this pathology, a review of domestic and foreign scientific literature is presented, including basic information about it: the history of studying, current data on the prevalence, anatomical and histological characteristics and etiopathogenetic theories of the formation of Morton’s neuroma, the main methods of its diagnosis, treatment (conservative and surgical).
